Football in Italy will be back when giants Juventus and AC Milan will be in action in Coppa Italia 2nd leg at the Allianz Stadium in Turin in front of empty stands on Saturday (IST).

After a 3-month break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Italian first-division football will return with the cup fixtures before Serie A returns next week. Napoli and Inter Milan will meet in the 2nd leg of the other semi-final on Sunday.

All eyes will be glued to the television screens as some of the biggest names in world football, including Cristiano Ronaldo will be back in action. However, Zlatan Ibrahimovic fans need to wait more to see their star back in action as he has been ruled out with a calf injury. Gonzalo Higuain will also not be in action on Friday for Juventus.

The Coppa Italia 2nd leg is perfectly set-up as Juventus and Milan played out a 1-1 draw in San Siro before the Covid-19 pandemic break. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the injury-time equaliser in the first leg.

Juventus are favourites to reach next Wednesday's final after a 1-1 draw in the first leg on Feb. 13 but coach Maurizio Sarri said that his side were venturing into the unknown after such a long layoff.

For AC Milan, the past three months have been a turbulent time with incessant speculation that the club wants to dismiss coach Stefano Pioli at the end of the season and replace him with German Ralf Rangnick.
